Last Wednesday we made an activity with Museum Marco.
The activity consisted in listening a storyteller and 2 art pieces.
The story we listened was about a man who was damned to become a worm. He regret and then we was able to become a butterfly. The storyteller explained to kids that they are going to change just like the worm did it. Kids will become wiser now they are going to 1st grade.
In the classroom, kids learned two techniques: chalk and paint. After the art pieces were finished, we were able to create a mural putting the butterflies altogether.
Kids had a great time!

Elisa & Eddie Steele's Read Aloud
We were selected to be part of a "Global Read Aloud" organized by Skype.
Yesterday, we had this experience with Elisa Steele (Chief Marketing Officer, Skype), her son, and his class from California.
Elisa and Eddie read to us "You Read to Me, I´ll Read to You" by Mary Ann Hoberman.
They read to us 3 short scary tales. After the reading, we had a Q&A session in which we learned things about the kids and their school.
You kids were very excited!
